To Learn the Chen 19 Form, You Need More than Video of Repeated Movements. This DVD Takes You Deeper in a Private Lesson with Sifu Ken Gullette!

In the mid-1990s, Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang created the 19 Form after being asked by people around the world for a form that could be easily learned and would fit into their hectic daily lives. In other words, it wouldn't take long to perform. His answer was this form, which borrows heavily from Laojia Yilu.

It's a short form but not easy to perform properly. The silk-reeling is more subtle than in Xinjia, but all the body mechanics, silk-reeling and structure that makes Chen Tai Chi so unique and powerful are in this form.

Ken Gullette learned the 19 Form directly from Chen Xiaowang and his students and disciples. It was the first Chen form he learned, and it's the first form he teaches his Tai Chi students.

This DVD runs nearly 1 hour and 45 minutes. It begins with front and rear views of the complete form, then an instruction section including slow-motion and instruction of each movement. That's followed by a private lesson -- an hour in which Sifu Gullette coaches a beginning Chen Tai Chi student on the fine points and fighting applications of the 19 Form.

The problem with internal arts videos -- Hsing-I, Tai Chi, or Bagua -- is that they focus on the movements with very little real instruction on how to do them properly. Sifu Ken Gullette believes an instructional video should actually teach rather than show repeated movements at different angles.

Cost is only $25.00, which includes fast, free first-class shipping in the U.S. and Canada (there's a $5.00 shipping charge for international orders)! There is a money-back guarantee. If you don't believe this DVD was worth the cost, just return it for a full, no-hassle 100% refund!
